Job description

The Leidos team supporting the FAA Office of Budget and Programs (ABP-200) is seeking a BI/Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Specialist to support dashboard development, data visualization, reporting modernization, analytics automation, and operational reporting support activities.

This role will support FAA financial and staffing reporting initiatives through development of dashboards, reporting tools, data visualizations, and user-friendly interfaces targeted toward executives, managers, analysts, and operational stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills with experience supporting business intelligence, reporting environments, and data visualization initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for executives, managers, and analysts.
  • Design user-friendly reporting interfaces and visualization products.
  • Improve UI/UX functionality for ABP financial and operational tools.
  • Develop portable reporting and forecasting tools for FAA organizations.
  • Support analytics modernization and reporting automation efforts.
  • Develop and maintain visualization logic, calculated fields, and reporting queries.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to improve usability and reporting effectiveness.
  • Support hosting, maintenance, and operational continuity of FAA reporting tools and datasets.
  • Document source code, queries, data structures, and version-controlled tool changes.
  • Support RPA software environments and FAA development, staging, and production environments.
  • Ensure tools and visualizations comply with FAA system security and AIT hosting requirements.
  • Provide access management support for datasets, visualizations, and reporting tools as directed by the program office.
  • Support embedded tool tips, screenshots, callouts, and end-user usability enhancements within ABP tools.
  • Support operational reporting requests and recurring data visualization deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Finance, or related field.
  • 4-8 years of relevant professional experience supporting business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or dashboard development activities.
  • Must have experience supporting FAA, federal financial, or appropriations-related programs.
  • Familiarity with iPAB, iSAB, FIT, iHUB, or similar FAA reporting and analytics tools.
  • Experience supporting RPA software environments or reporting automation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting UI/UX improvements and end-user reporting enhancements.
  • Experience supporting FAA-hosted environments and AIT security requirements.
  • Experience supporting executive dashboards and operational reporting modernization initiatives.
  • Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or similar reporting platforms.
  • Experience working with large datasets, reporting queries, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience supporting reporting automation, visualization design, or analytics modernization efforts.
  • Experience documenting technical processes, queries, or reporting logic.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
