JST is currently seeking an experienced Senior Business Operations Specialist.

This is a full-time on-site at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Senior Business Operations Specialist (Sr. BOS) provides expert-level support in data management, analytics, and knowledge management solutions. This role focuses on strategic Alignment and Knowledge Management Solutions and Enterprise Knowledge Management, offering specialized expertise in data integration, readiness assessments, and compliance with DoD standards. The Sr. BOS plays a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making, ensuring data consistency and accuracy, and developing knowledge management solutions.


Sr Business Operations Specialist Responsibilities

  • Data Management and Analysis:

    o Lead data collection, integration, and analysis efforts across both classified and unclassified systems to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance

    o Utilize advanced data analytics tools, such as Power BI and SharePoint, to provide actionable insights that support mission-critical decisions and readiness assessments.

  • Knowledge Management Solutions Development:

    o Collaborate with the Training & Development Manager to design, implement, and maintain the Knowledge Management Solution, emphasizing real-time data reporting, enhanced decision-making capabilities, and strategic alignment.

    o Develop and refine data visualization and knowledge management processes to optimize information flow, accessibility, and organizational awareness.

  • Technical Training Support:

    o Work closely with the training manager to develop and deliver technical training sessions on data analytics tools, including Power BI and SharePoint, tailored to specific operational and data management needs.

    o Provide ongoing support, training materials, and mentorship to client stakeholders to maximize their proficiency in utilizing knowledge management systems and data analytics tools.


Sr Business Operations Specialist Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Management, Business Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in data management, analytics, and knowledge management within a DoD or government environment preferred.
  • Power BI Data Analyst certification or equivalent preferred.

Required Clearances and Screenings

  • MUST have an active secret clearance
  • MUST be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check
