Overview
Position Summary:
The Data Analyst role will directly support the Hemostasis Applications team by:
  • Managing reagent sequesters for Integrated Health Networks, including establishing systems for monitoring lot status, lot expiration, usage trends, and other related metrics
  • Establishing good documentation practices for performance verification studies and annual lot rollover analysis
  • Serving as a liaison with the Commercial Operations team to resolve data integrity issues related to tools and reports needed to effectively run the applications business
  • Define and execute a system for managing and communicating forecasts for installs and go-lives
  • Act as a SME for current and future platforms used by the Applications team - Wrike, Apps Tracker, Fiori, and Salesforce.com

The Data Analyst will routinely partner with Applications, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
  • Migrate validated and enriched data that can be trusted for downstream analytics.
  • Work with highly refined and aggregated data to power analytics and production automation capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the team and business stakeholders to identify requirements, define models, and initiate new analytics initiatives.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Werfen Business and all datasets within the data lake to provide guidance to stakeholders.
  • Apply appropriate data models to address specific business problems.
  • With stakeholders' needs in mind, leverage creative solutions, analytics, and visualization/reporting techniques to enhance knowledge and drive actionable insights that deliver ROI.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the business that could impact objectives, strategy, and tactics. Present insights to functional management to further understanding of operating results through timely and accurate analyses.
  • Take responsibility for continuous improvement related to the quality and reliability of data and responsiveness to business requests.

Preferred Attributes:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical laboratory, medical device, pharmaceutical, hospital, or related technical environments.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) preferred and/or experience in Hemostasis
  • Preferred experience in field applications, field engineering, technical support, or sales support environments
  • Familiarity with SAP, PowerBI, MS Office Suite.

Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge & Experience for the position:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of work experience in Quality, Operations, Finance, or Business Analysis function required.
  • Experience in the Medical Device/IVD industry preferred.
  • Advanced skills with SQL, MS Excel, and Python required.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, databases, and web-based applications.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as MS Power BI or Tableau required.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems required.
  • Microsoft Azure, Agile, GIT software versioning, and SAP experience preferred.

Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement.

Travel requirements:
Less than 5 percent
The annual base salary range for this role is currently $65,000.00 to $85,000.00. Individual employee compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs.
This role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan retirement benefits with an employer match, as well as paid vacation and sick leave. Our sales roles are eligible for participation in a commission plan and our management, and select professional roles, are eligible for a performance-based bonus.
