Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of Data Ops Analysts and Senior Analysts through their day to day responsibilities, ensuring their growth as they progress through their career
  • Where applicable, partnering closely with engineering teams to ensure high data quality when building and maintaining critical data pipelines
  • Reviewing and assisting analysts with SQL scripts
  • Overseeing the design and execution of data quality checks and remediation of data quality across marketing data systems while ensuring full understanding of client deliverables
  • Maintaining ongoing management and stewardship of data governance, processing, and reporting
  • Overseeing taxonomy governance and ensure all key media and site stakeholders are following proper taxonomy additions and application
  • Serving as a knowledge expert for media and site data processes and identifying areas of improvement to ensure appropriate turnaround times and data quality standards are being met
  • Evaluating opportunities for simplification and/or automation for media and site data processes
  • Influencing teams towards data-informed decision-making and analytical thinking
  • Promoting a culture of process documentation
  • Providing guidance on process improvements and best practices for data management
  • Coaching junior team members
  • Assisting project managers and key project stakeholders in creating effective and achievable project plans
  • Working closely with other Data and Analysis teams, providing recommendations and direction on visualization of our data
  • Playing a key role in defining the technology strategy for data management
  • Empowering your team to live the Digitas values to be open, bold, and curious

Qualifications
We're looking for strong, impactful experience, which typically includes
  • 5-7 years of applicable experience in analytics with an advertising agency, management consulting company, or ad tech company
  • Experience managing a team
  • A four-year college degree; advanced degree is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Passion for digital marketing, eagerness to learn in a constantly changing space, and a natural curiosity
  • Proficient with SQL and data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio)
  • Knowledge of digital data technologies (Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platforms, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with Python a plus
  • Experience working with Google Cloud and AWS a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with Databricks or Snowflake a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines a plus
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, and coding assistance.

Compensation Range: USD $88,540.00 - USD $127,155.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
