Swoon is actively hiring an AML Reporting & Visualization Manager to join the team!
What your day-to-day will look like?
  • Leads the end-to-end delivery of AML reporting, ensuring leadership, board, audit, and regulatory stakeholders receive accurate and timely information.
  • Partners with AML, FIU, Technology, and data teams to turn complex business needs into reporting requirements, testing plans, and scalable solutions.
  • Oversees AML Risk Assessment data, including sourcing, reconciliation, quality validation, refresh schedules, supporting documentation, and executive readouts.
  • Builds and enhances dashboards, scorecards, and interactive visualizations in SAS Viya to highlight risk trends and support informed decision-making.
  • Strengthens governance around AML data by maintaining definitions, lineage, controls, evidence, documentation, and consistent reporting methodologies.
  • Develops backend reporting pipelines and analytical data models using SQL, Python, and SAS Viya while monitoring and resolving data-quality issues.
  • Manages and mentors a team of analysts, sets priorities across multiple initiatives, and communicates technical findings clearly to senior business leaders.

What's Required / Technical Skills
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in AML, financial crimes, risk/compliance, or reporting and analytics within financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of AML data and operations, including transaction monitoring, customer risk ratings, sanctions, and screening.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting pipelines.
  • Experience with SAS Viya for data preparation, dashboard development, reporting, and quality-control processes.
  • Proven experience managing recurring reporting processes with strong data governance, controls, documentation, and audit evidence.
  • Previous people-leadership experience, including managing analysts, setting priorities, and overseeing multiple projects.
  • Master's degree in business analytics, information science, data visualization, computer science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise or business-line AML Risk Assessments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory examinations, audits, issue remediation, and demonstrating AML reporting controls.
  • CAMS/ACAMS or a comparable AML or financial-crimes certification.
  • Experience with additional visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, SAS CAS, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Certifications in SAS, Power BI, Tableau, data analytics, or cloud technologies.
  • Experience working within Agile/SDLC environments, including UAT, change management, and production releases.
