Job Description: IS4S is seeking a mid to senior level Engineer or Developer or Intern in Auburn, AL to assist development enabling Command and Control (C2), Fires, and Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) technologies for the DoD. The person or persons filling this position will work with an existing team and be responsible for the real-time implementation and integration of complex systems of systems within a DevSecOps framework, including creating mission planning and execution modules, supporting development of modernized C2 systems, and integrating with tactical networks and protocols across multiple enclaves and echelons. Typical activities include:
Candidates should enjoy working a variety of interrelated tasks that may be different in nature. Though the position will be an addition to an existing team, candidates are expected to be self-driven problem solvers capable of operating independently on some tasks. Candidates must have strong analytical and communication skills. The position requires knowledge in multiple areas across signal processing, Unix systems, networking, development, as well as regular customer interaction through meetings, briefings, and reporting. Some responsibilities necessary for execution may be physical in nature (e.g., packing and moving test equipment, installing sensors in vehicles, setting up communication network using masts, etc.). Both full and part-time applicants will be considered, subject to the requirements listed below. Candidate must be a US citizen and eligible for a DoD clearance.

- developing web-based plugins to existing Command and Control components,
- creating analysis, assessment, and visualization tools for engineering purposes or to inform customers and end users,
- software and hardware in the loop testing, live testing at local sites, and live testing at Government sites,
- and interactions with customers and stakeholders through live and virtual meetings.
