Job description

MTSI is seeking to hire an Senior missile Defense Integration Engineer to serve as a program scheduler and data visualization expert, developing advanced analytical tools and robust management dashboards for multiple, simultaneous complex programs. This position requires a proactive, self-directed professional who excels at taking high-level objectives and independently producing fully developed, technically sound tools and solutions.
Responsibilities
The Senior Missile Defense Integration Engineer will serve as a senior technical authority responsible for leading complex scheduling, analytical tool development, and enterprise data visualization efforts. Duties include:
  • Serving as the primary scheduler for multiple, concurrent complex defense programs
  • Designing, building, and maintaining scalable scheduling and analytical tools enabling continuous tracking and optimization
  • Leveraging Palantir's "Foundry" to develop sophisticated analytical tools and interactive dashboards, converting complex datasets into clear, actionable executive-level visual products
  • Developing advanced reporting solutions in Tableau and PowerBI
  • Using PowerApps to automate workflows and streamline program management processes
  • Providing periodic database management support and assisting with SharePoint site administration
  • Operating independently-translating abstract, high-level objectives into complete, functioning tools without step-by-step guidance

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a STEM field and 12+ years of engineering experience, OR Bachelor's degree in STEM + 20+ years of experience
  • Extensive experience serving as the primary scheduler for multiple simultaneous complex programs
  • Ability to develop analytical and visualization tools
  • Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting database administration
  • Experience with SharePoint site management
  • High proficiency in Tableau and/or PowerBI
  • Development experience using PowerApps
  • Experience with Palantir's AI-based software development environments
  • Strong ability to synthesize technical data into executive-level products
  • Familiarity with missile defense or other complex DoD program environments
