Business Analyst/Solutions Developer Role
Position Summary:
Develop internal business solutions and applications to improve daily workflow for teams. Work on a team to gather needs, document requirements, design a solution, build, test, and deploy the solution. Build up automation capabilities including business intelligence, data capture, workflow and data base integration using but not limited to Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft Project Web App and Power BI platforms Identify specific business intelligence, algorithms, and flowchart to create new software programs based on business opportunities.
Essential / Key Job Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with cross-functional team members and management
- Translate the functional capabilities to technical requirements based on outlined needs
- Design, build, test, and deploy on the developed capabilities
- Responsible for developing PowerApps and model-driven apps (Power Automation, Power Virtual Agents, Cortana, Azure)
- Document existing data environment, technical and design documents and assist in creating end-user and technical documentation
- Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
- Responsible for developing, enhancing, and sustaining automated tools including BI capabilities
- Assist in communicating new features released to users
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related Engineering or business disciplines
- Strong willingness and enthusiasm to develop technical skills, such as application building, data visualization, and process reengineering
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude
- Working knowledge of software engineering practices, techniques and processes and basic knowledge of technology trends and domain expertise
- Experience in data visualization, interactive dashboards, ad hoc reporting, and data modeling tools
- Microsoft O365 proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Self-driven team player
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced in development of canvas and model driven Power App Enterprise-level solutions including data model creation, process automation, report and dashboard development, and system configuration
- Experience in Power BI Data preparation and writing the complex calculate-columns and complex measure expressions
- Experience in UX design
- Experience in Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate (built least 4-5 and solved complex workflow problems)
