Purpose of the role

To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports, compelling visualisations and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), data insights and trends across various business units.

Accountabilities

  • Design and development of comprehensive reports and dashboards utilisng best practices in data visualisation principles and design aesthetics to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.

  • Design, development and implementation of automated report generation processes and visualisation methodologies for improved efficiency and timeliness.

  • Identification and analysis of business requirements to define report content and format.

  • Maintenance and updating of existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs, including co-ordination of reporting template releases and related administrative tasks.

  • Development of robust processes & controls for collating input data, performing exploratory data analysis & data cleansing and seeking signoffs as required.

  • Engagement with stakeholders as needed to ensure up to date data is incorporated into reporting and visualisations.

What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Senior Data Analytics Developer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

  • Build reports using financial and Client Relationship Management (CRM) data points using visualization tools like Tableau and Qlik, augmented by custom extensions using Angular.

  • Design and build multidimensional reporting data marts and build Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) pipeline using pyspark and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

  • Design end to end solution architecture with C4 model diagrams - (Context, Component, Container, Code) and collaborate with the Chief Data Office (CDO) and Chief Technology Office (CTO) colleagues. And clearly articulate different viable technical solutions with their Pros and Cons.

  • Work with multiple teams (like - Product Management, QA, UX Design etc) to ensure delivery of quality product to end user and multitask within an Agile software development framework.

  • Interact directly with various business users to understand their requirements and clearly articulate different viable technical solutions with their Pros and Cons.

  • May telecommute pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role].

Minimum Salary: $169,541 per year

Maximum Salary: $185,000 per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
