Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Location: Little Rock, AR, Jonesboro, AR or Millington, TN

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Virtualization and Systems Architect to lead the design, standardization, and optimization of virtualization, bare metal infrastructure, storage, and cloud environments within a service provider environment. This role will focus on scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions across private/public cloud, hyper-converged infrastructure, disaster recovery, and software-defined networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect storage, compute, and networking solutions for virtual and bare metal environments
  • Develop cloud and virtualization strategies for scalability, performance, and security
  • Manage performance optimization, capacity planning, licensing, and resource utilization
  • Design and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions
  • Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams
  • Maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures
  • Provide technical leadership, support, and escalation for infrastructure-related issues
  • Lead change control reviews and ensure security and compliance standards are met
  • Partner with vendors on solution architecture and procurement
  • Support systems in a 24x7 data center environment
  • Travel as needed to project sites and company locations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 7+ years of enterprise IT experience in Windows Server, System Center, and cloud technologies
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Stack HCI, VMware vSAN, and Microsoft Azure
  • Advanced scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, etc.)
  • Experience with Veeam, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions preferred
  • Knowledge of Cisco ACI, VMware vCenter, and SCVMM
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards including HIPAA, PCI, SOX, SOC 2, and ISO 27001
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to travel with a valid driver’s license
Preferred Certifications
  • VMCE or VMCA
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
