IT Business Analyst – Oracle Financial Systems

TEKsystems is partnering with a leading retail organization to hire an experienced IT Business Analyst - Oracle Financial Systems. This role serves as a key liaison between Finance and Technology, supporting Oracle Fusion Financial applications, enterprise integrations, financial reporting, and business process optimization.

Top Skills Required
  • 5+ years of experience supporting ERP or financial systems in a complex, multi-entity environment

ResponsibilitiesOracle Financial Systems Administration
  • Support and administer Oracle Fusion Financial modules, including General Ledger structures, reporting hierarchies, security roles, and configuration management
  • Support Oracle EPM administration, including user access and dimension management
  • Maintain financial reporting structures in alignment with accounting and governance requirements
  • Coordinate system updates, patches, and enhancements across business and technical teams
  • Ensure documentation and audit compliance for system changes
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner directly with Finance and Accounting teams to gather and refine business requirements
  • Support financial close activities, reporting updates, and system enhancements
  • Translate accounting processes into technical system requirements
  • Assist with backlog prioritization and Agile planning activities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization
Integrations & Data Management
  • Partner with Data Engineering teams to support enterprise integrations
  • Perform data validation, reconciliations, and root cause analysis
  • Maintain data flow documentation, source-to-target mappings, and integration documentation
  • Support financial system reporting and data integrity initiatives
Application Support
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Oracle Financial Systems support requests
  • Triage and manage tickets through resolution
  • Coordinate efforts across support, engineering, and business teams
  • Analyze recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions
  • Report on system health, support metrics, and backlog trends
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of ERP or financial systems support experience
  • Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Financials in a production environment
  • Knowledge of General Ledger structures, chart of accounts, financial reporting, and security models
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience working directly with Finance and Accounting stakeholders
  • Understanding of ERP-to-data warehouse integration concepts
  • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle EPM experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
