We are looking for a ERP Data Analyst to add to our team. 
 
Job Overview:
 
 
 

Location: Alexandria, VA - Monday through Thursday, while working remotely on Friday.
 
Financial Systems Analyst Financial Data Analyst- Asset Management - PeopleSoft /Other ERP
 
• Resource to support enterprise asset data quality initiatives by analyzing, cleansing, standardizing, and validating asset information across systems such as PeopleSoft Financials and Maximo.
Responsible for ensuring asset data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with organizational standards. Works closely with maintenance, operations, finance, real estate, and IT teams to reconcile discrepancies and improve long-term data quality, with a strong focus on data integrity, governance, and analytical rigor.
o Perform data cleansing and standardization by correcting errors, normalizing naming conventions, and ensuring compliance with data governance rules.
o Analyze and profile asset datasets to identify gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and formatting issues.
o Build and refine asset hierarchies, including parent-child relationships and location structures.
o Reconcile asset data between Maximo and PeopleSoft Financials, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
o Develop and apply validation rules for required fields, naming standards, and acceptable values.
o Prepare and execute bulk data updates and mass data loads using approved tools and processes. Maintain detailed documentation of data standards, assumptions, and transformation logic.
o Collaborate with system maintenance, engineering, finance, and IT teams to validate asset data and resolve issues.
o Perform quality assurance audits and testing to ensure data accuracy prior to migration or system go-live.
 
Required Qualifications
o Strong experience in asset data cleansing, standardization, and validation within enterprise systems.
o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Power Query, pivot tables, and lookup functions.
o Hands-on SQL experience for querying, filtering, and updating datasets.
o Experience working with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)/CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo) and ERP/FMS systems (e.g., Oracle PeopleSoft Financials).
o Strong understanding of asset lifecycle, equipment classifications, and profile categories.
o Experience with data transformation, ETL processes, or query tools.
o Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage large, complex datasets. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis. o Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
 
Preferred Qualifications
o Experience supporting data migration efforts for ERP or asset management implementations.
o Background in facilities management, utilities, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
o Familiarity with data governance frameworks and enterprise data quality programs.
o Prior experience working with both Maximo and PeopleSoft Financials in integrated environments.
