The Asphalt Pricing Associate is an entry-level role that provides essential administrative support for asphalt pricing activities and assists with pavement smoothness testing using IRI (International Roughness Index) equipment.
Essential Functions
  • Accepts responsibility for personal safety.
  • Engages in safe behaviors, including wearing proper PPE and following all required safety protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining asphalt pricing records and spreadsheets.
  • Help prepare pricing documentation to support internal and external sales.
  • Collect and organize data from vendors and internal teams.
  • Perform basic data entry and generate routine reports.
  • Assist with setup and operation of IRI testing equipment under supervision.
  • Help collect and record pavement smoothness data in the field.
  • Support data transfer, organization, and basic analysis.
  • Ensure equipment is clean, charged, and ready for use.
  • Demonstrates ability to apply strong problem-solving skills and business acumen to address complex analytics challenges and support strategic decision making in a competitive market environment.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company's core values, competencies, and skills.

Education Qualifications
  • Required High School or Equivalent
  • Preferred Vocational/Trade School We value industry experience that demonstrates the required knowledge and skills. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of education requirements.

Skills and Abilities
  • Able to use technical equipment after training.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Ability to travel to other labs and job sites.
  • Ability to read and understand technical specifications.

Licenses and Certifications

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

  • Walks on uneven surfaces on job sites
