Position Overview
International is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Associate Director, HR Technology & People Data Strategy to lead the evolution of our HR technology ecosystem, people data capabilities, and digital HR transformation agenda.
This role is a key enabler of International's HR transformation journey. As the organization continues to modernize HR service delivery and expand shared capabilities, this leader will help shape the future of HR technology, workforce analytics, and digital employee experiences.
By connecting technology, data, and business strategy, the Associate Director will drive operational excellence, strengthen workforce insights, improve decision-making, and position the organization to take advantage of emerging capabilities in analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence.
This leader will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy, governance, and roadmap for HR technology platforms, workforce data, analytics, and integrations across the employee lifecycle. The role serves as a critical partner to Human Resources, Information Technology, Payroll, Finance, Shared Solutions, and business leaders to ensure technology and data solutions enable operational excellence, actionable workforce insights, and an exceptional employee experience.
The Associate Director will oversee a complex portfolio of HR systems and strategic vendor partnerships while leading transformational initiatives that modernize HR service delivery and strengthen organizational capabilities in workforce analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence.
This position is ideal for an experienced leader who combines business acumen, systems thinking, and technical expertise with a passion for continuous improvement and digital transformation.
Responsibilities
HR Technology & Digital Strategy
  • Lead the HR technology, people data, and digital HR roadmap aligned with business and transformation priorities.
  • Provide strategic oversight of the HR technology portfolio, including core HR, payroll, recruiting, onboarding, learning, compensation, workforce management, and reporting solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, employee experience, and business outcomes.

People Data & Analytics
  • Lead enterprise workforce data, reporting, analytics, and governance strategies.
  • Deliver executive reporting, dashboards, and actionable workforce insights that support talent, workforce planning, retention, compensation, and organizational effectiveness decisions.
  • Establish standards for data quality, security, compliance, and accessibility.

Technology Architecture & Transformation
  • Oversee HR systems architecture, integrations, and data management practices to ensure a secure, scalable, and connected ecosystem.
  • Lead HR technology programs including implementations, upgrades, process redesign initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Drive effective governance, change management, stakeholder engagement, and adoption across transformation initiatives.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead technology assessments, business case development, vendor evaluations, and strategic sourcing activities.
  • Manage key vendor relationships and governance processes to ensure service quality, innovation, and value realization.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to support technology decisions and contract management.

People Leadership
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for HR technology, analytics, reporting, and project delivery.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 9 years of HRIS experience
  • At least 5 years of management experience

  • Master's degree and at least 7 years of HRIS experience
  • At least 5 years of management experience

OR
  • At least 12 years of HRIS experience
  • At least 5 years of management experience

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and related HR technology solutions.
  • Experience supporting integrations, APIs, data governance, reporting, analytics, and enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Experience with workforce analytics, executive reporting, and visualization tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics, Tableau, SQL, or similar technologies.
  • Proven success leading HR transformation initiatives, technology implementations, and operating model changes.
  • Experience leading RFPs, vendor selection processes, contract negotiations, and strategic vendor governance.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management, project leadership, and change management capabilities.
