Description:
The Sr Supply Chain Financial Analyst is responsible for a variety of projects concerning the financial health of all entities within The Guthrie Clinic. The focus will be on both ongoing assignments as well as project based. The Sr Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports from multiple information systems used by TGC. Creates, researches, analyzes data not readily available for complex decisions, collaborating with other Guthrie teams. Analytics will be used in cost saving initiatives, strategic planning, employee/departmental productivity, service line profitability, etc.
The Sr Analyst will direct analyses to include, but not exclusively, supplies, and indirect spend and work closely with others in Supply Chain, Finance, Administration, Providers, and the Business Office to provide in-depth analysis and recommendation of major business/operation/financial decisions. Additional customers will include healthcare organizations and others requiring information from the Supply Chain.
Experience
Four years of financial analytics experience or experience in Supply Chain. Healthcare experience desirable. Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Oracle Cloud experience a plus. Advanced technical and analytical skills a must.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Information Systems or Mathematics. Master's degree preferred.
Essential Functions
Collect data on supply chain operations across the system, create KPIs. Establish benchmarking programs for comparison against other healthcare systems.
Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations efficiency improvements, increase supply standardization and consolidation.
Create and maintain visual dashboards to include data from multiple sources and that is operational and financial in nature, as well as quality and satisfaction data.
Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations and financial status of Guthrie.
Establish supply chain performance measures and report to management.
Create cost saving opportunity reporting for all entities to be presented to leadership on a regular basis.
Perform verification analytics for opportunities presented by GPO. Analyze subscription services such as Valify and ECRI for cost saving opportunities.
Completion of surveys and other information reporting.
Work closely with VP of Supply Chain, Director of Strategic Sourcing, Value Analysis Program Manager, decision support, revenue cycle and all CQVA team members to report total cost impact for all initiatives.
Assist capital sourcing contract manager, in analyzing capital bids
Other Duties
Use of Quality Improvement processes and techniques with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and team participation.
Other analysis, processes and duties as required.
