The Opportunity:
The CIS program supports our intelligence customer deliver IT services to conduct its globally distributed operations. We are driving an exciting technological transformation of customer IT services by leading the design, development, implementation, and operation of cutting-edge solutions. This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.
CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Storage Services Specialist to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency.
The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Infrastructure Services (CIS) contract.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key technical member of the global, 24/7 operations team, providing secure, continuous support for all physical and virtual storage systems during the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Perform operational activities, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, hands-on touch labor, and break/fix resolution for all storage-related hardware, software, and solutions
  • Coordinate with senior team members, as appropriate, to ensure proper operations and security compliance of storage systems
  • Provision, configure, and manage allocations, throughput, and permissions for all data shares, network drives, and shared storage systems (specifically supporting Brocade, Data Domain, Dell FluidFS, NetApp, and Dell Storage Center)
  • Execute routine data backups, replication, verification, and restoral services to meet strict data-related SLAs. Actively participate in disaster recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) exercises
  • Monitor capacity, performance, and service-level metrics to maintain an optimal user experience, identify trends, and resolve potential issues before they become incidents
  • Maintain the physical and logical security of data at rest and in transit. Provide continuous patch management for designated workstations, servers, and storage nodes across all network domains
  • Contribute to the development of test cases and scripts for Beta and Acceptance testing; utilize Lab facilities to investigate incidents and validate new component designs before field deployment
  • Assist in drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, and technical content for contract deliverables

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Must hold a current Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to start
  • NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) - ONTAP or an equivalent OEM vendor certification
  • DOD 8140 Certification applicable to role (minimum Security+)
  • An AA and 10+ years of experience, BS/BA and 8+ years of experience, MS/MA and 6+ years of experience, or PhD and 4+ years of experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions (specifically enterprise storage systems)
  • Ability to coordinate effectively execute system troubleshooting and work closely with senior technicians for more advanced troubleshooting
  • Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies.

Desired:
  • Degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering
  • Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments
  • Familiarity with Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) or evaluating new storage technologies
  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

The proposed salary range for this position is:
