Responsibilities

  • Enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture and integration processes.
  • Influence data owners, modelers, engineers, and analysts to recommend relevant solutions.
  • Define integration data flows across organizational parts.
  • Design sophisticated data models ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Stay ahead of emerging data technologies and recommend enhancements.
  • Collaborate internally to deliver products that align with Ferguson’s strategy.
  • Prepare detailed design specifications for implementations.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems and provide solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of hands‑on experience working in data integrations across different business domains.
  • Developed innovative architectural designs for large commercial enterprises (5000+ associates).
  • Expert level experience defining system architecture and delivering comprehensive solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience with integration as it relates to data constructs (designing and developing data transformations).
  • Knowledge of MongoDB, Oracle RDBMS, Java and Webservices preferred.
