$55,000 USD - $60,000 USD
Specific compensation will be based on candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a PMA Operational & Service Associate (PMA Services Associate), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the relationship between Russell Investments, various financial sponsors, and our partnering platform provider regarding the Personalized Managed Accounts (PMA) program.
This position is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and requires working in-person at our office. This role provides opportunities for career growth with a clear pathway for your professional development at Russell Investments. Your Core Responsibilities:
  • Communication between Russell Investments, our platform provider, and various sponsors
  • Troubleshooting issues between our platform provider, Russell Investments, and sponsors
  • Perform corporate action elections as directed
  • Support Russell Investments' sales team and/or advisors regarding client onboarding functions, including but not limited to:
    • Reviewing client documentation to ensure completeness
    • Troubleshooting when there are discrepancies in the documentation and/or data
    • Regularly monitoring PMA Services inbox
  • Creating and updating onboarding and maintenance forms
  • Proactive communication (phone and email) to financial advisors to assist with onboarding and maintenance of client accounts
  • Responsible for tracking opened and pending accounts
  • Maintaining and storing documents related to onboarded client accounts
  • Liaison between portfolio trading team and our sales team and/or clients
  • Other duties as required
Your Expertise:
  • BS / BA degree. Accounting, Business, Finance, preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience in an investment management, custody or fund administration environment is preferred.
  • Licensing required within 6 months of hire date (SIE, Series 7 and 66 sponsorship available)
  • Separately Managed Account knowledge is a plus
  • Previous experience within financial industry or an interest in learning more
  • Previous experience in an operational capacity with account openings, transactions, etc.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency with DocuSign
  • High attention to detail
  • Solves and analyzes problems effectively, with a process for decision making.
  • Evaluates problems via systems thinking, sees downstream affects, identifies future implications across a process to help prioritize solutions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and build trusted relationships with others.
  • Ensures the (external or internal) client's perspective is a driving force behind their decisions and actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a collaborative team player with the ability to interact well with all levels of internal and external personnel and adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
