Position Overview
The Data and Security Manager is responsible for safeguarding NITS Solutions Inc.’s data 
assets and analytics platforms, with a particular focus on protecting sensitive automotive client data, including connected vehicle, telematics, and operational datasets. This role leads the development of secure data pipelines, ensures compliance with automotive industry standards, and embeds cybersecurity best practices into analytics workflows. The position acts as a critical bridge between data engineering, analytics teams, and client security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks for automotive datasets, including 
telematics and IoT data 
• Secure data pipelines used for ingestion, transformation, and analytics (ETL/ELT 
processes) 
• Design and maintain security architecture for analytics environments such as data lakes 
and warehouses 
• Protect cloud-based analytics infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and implement 
encryption and anonymization techniques 
• Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO/SAE 21434, GDPR, CCPA, and TISAX 
• Conduct risk assessments and manage third-party/vendor security risks involving 
OEMs and suppliers 
• Secure APIs and data-sharing platforms used across automotive ecosystems 
• Oversee identity and access management (IAM) and enforce access controls across 
systems.
• Lead incident response, investigations, and disaster recovery planning for data-related 
security events 
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients while leading security initiatives and 
training programs.


Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science, or related 
field (Master’s preferred)
• 5–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data security, or data governance in analytics 
environments
• Experience with automotive data, IoT systems, or connected vehicle platforms preferred
• Strong knowledge of data security in analytics ecosystems and big data technologies 
(e.g., Snowflake, Spark, Databricks)
• Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and securing data 
pipelines
• Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, 
GDPR, and ISO/SAE 21434
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CDMP, or cloud security 
certifications preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to manage risk
