Job description

Responsibilities
  • Design and implementation of solutions using machine learning
  • Independent work on analytical and consulting projects
  • Close collaboration with the client, process analysis, requirements gathering
  • Conducting exploratory analyses
  • Prototyping analytical solutions (training models, testing approaches)
  • Development and deployment of production‑level solutions
  • Presentation of concepts and business cases, discussion of obtained results
  • Evaluation of new technologies, libraries, approaches, and proposing innovative solutions
Requirements
  • Higher education in a specific field: econometrics, quantitative methods, mathematics, computer science
  • Min. 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist / implementing commercial analytical projects (predictive, classification, segmentation, recommendation models, optimization, NLP)
  • Strong data processing skills (SQL, Python: pandas, numpy, pyspark, polars)
  • Good knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms and their implementation in Python
  • Very good knowledge of Python, including object‑oriented programming, code optimization
  • Knowledge of good programming practices (code review, CICD)
  • Good communication skills, ability to engage with business, and present complex concepts
Preferred
  • Experience in consulting / working for various external clients, possibly internal ones (e.g., a company's analytics department) / experience in several industries
  • Experience in end‑to‑end projects: from design to implementation
  • Experience in implementing projects in the following areas: NLP, LLM, GenAI
  • Knowledge of tools for processing large data sets (Apache Spark)
  • Knowledge of at least one cloud environment: AWS, Azure, GCP
