We are seeking aSystems Engineer Ito join our Engineering team inBeauport, QC.

In this role, you will independentlyexecutesystem-level engineering activities for new products and enhancements to existing solutions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to translate customer and stakeholder needs into robust technical requirements, guideintegrationand verification activities, and help ensure successful project execution.As a key technical contributor, you will apply systems thinking to complex challenges,facilitatecross-functional collaboration, and help drive technical decisions throughout the product development lifecycle.

Please note that this is a Full-Time/Permanent and hybrid position.

What you will do as a Systems Engineer I
  • Executesystems engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment across engineering disciplines.
  • Support the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including Design History Files (DHF), configuration documentation, and related project records.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate stakeholder requirements, including customer, regulatory, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability needs, into actionable engineering specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of technical strategies, system architectures, feasibility assessments, and subsystem requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on complex projects and contribute as a key member of new product development initiatives.
  • Define system testing strategies and drive verification and validation activities to ensure product requirements are met.
  • Investigate technical challenges, perform analyses, and develop innovative solutions that enhance customer outcomes.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer workflows and use cases to help shape product design and functionality.
  • Execute system-level feasibility studies and evaluate technical trade-offs, risks, and opportunities throughout project execution.
  • Work independently on routine assignments while collaborating closely with senior engineers and project stakeholders on more complex initiatives.
Experience, Abilities and Competencies required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree inEngineering.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline; relevant internship and co-op experience will be considered.
  • Fluency in French and advanced proficiency in English.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to evaluate technical challenges and recommend effective engineering approaches and solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma training or certification.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or manufacturing.
