A career as a Senior AI Data scientist in the Hyper Automation - Cross-sector Solutions, Acceleration and Data team at National Bank means serving as an applied Artificial Intelligence specialist. This position allows you to have a concrete impact on the performance and evolution of an enterprise platform thanks to your expertise in applied data science, model evaluation and continuous improvement. You contribute directly to the quality, reliability and evolution of an intelligent document processing platform used on a large scale. Your role focuses on measurable results, improving models in production and delivering concrete value to business teams.

Your job

  • Define and develop quality metrics related to classification, extraction, validation and confidence scores
  • Build and maintain the reference, validation and test data sets needed to evaluate models
  • Analyze production results and identify the causes of problems in order to propose concrete improvements
  • Help develop models, prompts, confidence thresholds and validation rules
  • Compare different versions to detect regressions and support releases
  • Track performance over time to identify drifts and recommend adjustments

Cross-sector Solutions, Acceleration and Data, you are part of a multidisciplinary team of specialists in business analysis, development, architecture and operations. It is also a specialised team that works in an agile, proactive and collaborative manner to improve processes and develop automation capabilities across the Bank. Prerequisites

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in model evaluation, advanced analytics or improving solutions in production
  • Master the concepts related to performance metrics, validation and monitoring of models
  • Solid experience with Python and solid knowledge of SQL
  • Understand artificial intelligence issues in production, including robustness, drift, governance and security
  • Experience manipulating structured and unstructured data
