Job Description

The Sr. Data Scientist will use client platform data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights supporting mission objectives and system improvements. They will work with stakeholders to define analytical requirements, ensure data quality and governance compliance, and develop methodologies for data collection, analysis, and visualization. Responsibilities include creating reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor performance, costs, usage, and customer satisfaction. They will perform advanced data analysis using statistical methods, data mining, and predictive analytics, integrating data from various sources to uncover correlations and forecast future needs. The Data Scientist/Analyst will validate data accuracy, document processes, and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making. They will collaborate with technical teams to optimize data systems, implement improvements, and develop reusable analytical components. Additionally, they will evaluate and implement tools, train users on analytics capabilities, and stay current with advancements in analytics techniques and technologies, bringing innovative approaches to their work.

Must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or an additional 4 years of equivalent experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 8 years of experience in data, process optimization, operations or management   

Security Clearance:

  • Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position
