• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients’ histories, needs, and mental health goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices and continuously evaluate their effectiveness through client feedback and progress tracking.
• Facilitate a range of therapeutic modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe space for clients to express themselves and engage in their healing journeys.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to deliver comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a client’s mental health.
• Document detailed client progress notes and treatment updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, maintaining a high standard for confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions and workshops, remaining informed of industry standards, emerging research, and best practices in mental health care.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions with clients, ensuring their confidentiality and fostering a trustful therapeutic relationship.

The LPCC will cater primarily to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. Our diverse patient population consists of children, adolescents, adults, and families seeking support. The counselor will be integral in enhancing community mental health by addressing the unique challenges faced by those we serve.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• A valid and active LPCC license to practice in California is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to practice independently without supervision is crucial.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong proficiency in using technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, with a proven track record of effective therapy outcomes.

• Familiarity with community resources and referral procedures that can assist clients in their recovery process.
