Position Summary

We are hiring a Data Science Manager to lead project delivery across a range of data science engagements and serve as a key point of contact for clients. You will manage the day-to-day work of analyst-level team members, translate complex analytical findings into client-ready insights, and navigate stakeholder conversations with confidence. The work spans predictive modeling, regression analysis, and marketing analytics, and this role sits at the intersection of technical delivery and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of data science projects, including scoping, data collection, model development, and final presentations.

  • Serve as the primary client contact for active engagements, managing feedback, handling methodology questions, and maintaining strong working relationships.

  • Translate model outputs (decompositions, ROI estimates, diminishing returns curves) into clear, actionable recommendations for marketing clients.

  • Lead stakeholder discussions around model scope, data requirements, and interpretation of results, including managing requests that fall outside agreed project boundaries.

  • Manage and mentor analyst-level team members, providing direction on analytical tasks and reviewing outputs for quality.

  • Coordinate across internal teams (strategy, media, platforms) to align MMM outputs with broader client deliverables.

  • Contribute to proposal development and statements of work for new and existing client engagements.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in a quantitative or analytics role, with at least 2 years in a client-facing capacity.

  • Solid working knowledge of regression-based modeling and Marketing Mix Modelling methodology.

  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, handle pushback professionally, and maintain project momentum under competing demands.

  • Experience presenting analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders and adapting communication style to different audiences.

  • Proficiency in Python or R, and comfort working with media, sales, or consumer dataset types.

  • Understanding of the marketing lifecycle, key KPIs and metrics

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a marketing agency or management consultancy.

  • Familiarity with Bayesian regression methods and adstock modeling.

  • Background working with media planning or analytics platforms.
