This opportunity is in Woodburn, Indiana in our BF Goodrich tire plant. Woodburn is a small town located about 30 minutes east of Fort Wayne, IN. Fort Wayne is the cultural and economic center of northeastern Indiana and the second largest city in Indiana. Established in 1961, our plant makes passenger and light truck tires.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Develop, build, maintain, and support scalable data systems and pipelines that enable reliable analytics and reporting.
  • Collect data from different sources and automate its ingestion, cleaning, structuring, and enrichment for business use.
  • Analyze needs expressed by key business resources and document solutions that align with the Michelin Group's requirements in terms of security, reliability, and confidentiality.
  • Ensures data quality, performance, security, and compliance with data governance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, and data scientists to understand requirements, and deliver effective design solutions.
  • Deploy and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient, secure, and consistent data flow aligned with architectural standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve data issues and provide technical support to data teams to ensure smooth operations.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Application Development, Data Analytics or related technical experience. This can include internship, Co-op, apprentices, military service, or similar programs.
  • BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Scientist, or a technical degree, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of OSI or AVEVA PI systems is a plus.
  • Ability to set priorities, work independently, and consistently deliver results with minimal direction.
  • Proven success working across teams, with the ability to clearly communicate in diverse, multi-functional environments.
  • Skilled at analyzing data, identifying patterns, and ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
