Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. To support this mission, we are seeking a Senior Instructional Designer who will be instrumental in ensuring that complex technical solutions are translated into actionable knowledge for our government partners. This role is not just about creating slides; it’s about designing the learning architecture that empowers federal agencies to adopt new technologies and improve mission outcomes through data-driven training strategies. Key Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive training needs analysis to identify performance gaps and define learning objectives within complex technical environments. * Design and develop innovative training curricula that align with organizational goals and government standards. * Create high-quality multimedia and web-based storyboards, ensuring a balance between instructional integrity and visual engagement. * Develop end-to-end training materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led guides, and performance support tools. * Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using industry-standard metrics (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model) to ensure a high return on mission investment. * Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) in data science and technology to simplify complex concepts for diverse learner populations. Required Experience/Clearance * Active Top Secret/SCI FS Poly clearance.  * Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Organizational Development. * Current CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) or CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) certification. * 8+ years of experience in instructional design, specifically supporting federal government or large-scale enterprise environments. * Demonstrated experience using the ADDIE model or Agile instructional design methodologies. * Proven ability to develop multimedia and web-based training content from initial storyboard to final deployment. Desired Experience * Proficiency with rapid authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise), Adobe Captivate, or Lectora. * Experience designing training for technical subject matter, such as Data Science, AI/ML, or Cloud Infrastructure (Databricks, AWS, Azure). * Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and accessibility standards for e-learning. * Experience managing content within Learning Management Systems (LMS) and tracking SCORM/xAPI data. * Strong graphic design skills or experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
