Success in this role is achieved through sound analytical judgment, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and client service. You will collaborate with appraisers, analysts, clients, vendors, and cross-functional partners to deliver timely, reliable valuation solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Interpret market, financial, and property information to develop credible analyses that support appraisal reports and valuation recommendations.
  • Partner closely with appraisers throughout the appraisal process to evaluate data, resolve analytical questions, and support valuation conclusions.
  • Review research and preliminary analyses completed by Analysts and Senior Analysts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency before incorporation into appraisal reports.
  • Support complex appraisal assignments across multiple property types, geographic markets, and transaction structures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve appraisal processes, analytical approaches, and valuation tools that enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to obtain information, resolve issues, and support successful engagement execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Attendance is generally required from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm local time, Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree preferred in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily real estate valuation, underwriting, financial analysis, appraisal, or a related field preferred.
  • Active Appraiser Trainee license in good standing preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret commercial real estate market and property data and apply valuation methodologies.
