Job description

Responsibilities of the Business Reporting Analyst:
The analyst will collect and synthesize technical data and will organize the information in a manner that will be readily accessible for sales, order management, supply chain and inventory management. The data analyst will translate the data in such a way that is understandable to future users.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Use data to answer key questions about the business.
  • Deliver takeaways from data with statistical significance.
Requirements for the Business Reporting Analyst:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient with data management software such as Excel at a minimum.
  • Technological and computer knowledge, especially BI software
  • Proper knowledge on business policies and regulations
  • An understanding of budgeting procedures, methods, evaluation criteria and resource planning
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field.
  • 3 years of professional experience. Analyst role preferable
