Position Description:
CGI is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to support enterprise data management and data quality initiatives within a financial services environment. This role focuses on analyzing data across systems, implementing and monitoring data quality rules, maintaining metadata, and identifying and resolving data quality issues.
We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!.
This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
CGI is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to support enterprise data management and data quality initiatives within a financial services environment. This role focuses on analyzing data across systems, implementing and monitoring data quality rules, maintaining metadata, and identifying and resolving data quality issues.
The Data Quality Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, data producers, and technical teams to understand data requirements and ensure critical data is accurate, complete, consistent, and traceable. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with complex datasets, has strong SQL and documentation skills, and can translate business requirements into practical data quality checks and validation processes.
This is an onsite role, five days per week.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 2+ years of experience in data quality, data analysis, or a similar data focused role
. Strong SQL skills for data analysis, profiling, validation, and issue investigation
. Hands on experience defining, implementing, and monitoring data quality rules and metrics
. Experience analyzing data across relational databases and data warehouse environments
. Ability to create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, process flows, and supporting documentation
. Experience identifying data quality issues, performing root cause analysis, and working with technical and business teams through resolution
. Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and data validation procedures
. Strong documentation skills, including requirements and SDLC related documentation
. Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with Visio and JIRA
. Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and SDLC processes
. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
. Financial services or other highly governed data environment experience is beneficial
. Exposure to AWS based data environments or cloud data platforms is a plus
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $68,300.00 $110,100.00.
