  • Location: Hamden, CT

Amphenol Spectra-Strip is a leader in hyper scale data center bulk wire solutions. We develop and manufacture gigabit copper cable solutions for high performance and cloud compute applications. We are currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our team in Hamden, CT.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage product and process quality to meet customer satisfaction metrics through formal continuous improvement programs.
  • Overall responsibility for compliance functions, direct supervisor to Compliance Engineer
  • Manage customer quality requirements through documentation review, process capability/control, and detailed inspection plans.
  • Responsible for quality planning and supervision of quality personnel to site-specific quality metrics.
  • Responsible for presentation of business unit level quality metrics to corporate management.
  • Responsible for managing all quality related aspects of customer and supplier relationships, including management of both customer and supplier corrective action processes.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Quality management experience with strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge and proven leadership in continuous improvement activities and formal programs.
  • Customer and supplier communication and presentations
