Quality & Inspection Technician
Location: On-Site
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift
Compensation: $21-22/HR
Openings: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shifts
Position Summary
The Quality & Inspection Technician is responsible for performing independent audits and inspections within manufacturing testing operations to ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering specifications, testing procedures, and ISO 9001 requirements. This role verifies testing activities, documentation accuracy, traceability, and process adherence while partnering with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
This is a growth-driven hiring initiative supporting a rapidly expanding manufacturing operation. These positions are newly created due to increased production demand and facility expansion, not backfills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform audits and inspections of manufacturing and testing operations.
  • Verify proper execution of inspections, testing procedures, and documentation.
  • Review quality data, traceability records, and production documentation for accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and escalate nonconformances and process deviations.
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal quality standards.
  • Communicate quality findings to production and engineering teams.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by Quality and Production Leadership.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing, production, quality, inspection, or related experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and quality issues.
  • Comfortable working across multiple computer systems and software platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing quality, quality assurance, quality control, or inspection experience.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other manufacturing/quality systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Experience supporting audits, inspections, traceability, or testing operations.
  • Assembly or production backgrounds may be considered if candidates are technically inclined, computer savvy, and able to learn quality processes quickly.
