Alcon is seeking an experienced, results‑driven leader to serve as Director, Global Supply Chain Master Data Governance. This role owns strategy, governance, and execution of master data across global supply chain and commercial operations assuring a trusted, scalable data foundation that enables operational excellence, digital transformation, and advanced analytics. Reporting into the Global Supply Chain Digital Transformation organization, this leader will partner closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, Commercial, IT, and Quality teams to modernize master data capabilities across all product franchises, affiliates, and manufacturing sites. This is a high‑visibility leadership role with the opportunity to shape how data enables global supply chain execution and innovation. You will influence enterprise strategy, lead transformation at scale, and leave a lasting impact on how Alcon delivers sight‑saving products to patients around the world. This role ensures a high‑quality, scalable master data foundation that enables global supply chain performance, digital transformation, and advanced analytics at our Fort Worth, TX site.

Specifics include:
  • Lead and evolve Alcon’s global Master Data Governance organization, building strong stewardship, accountability, and operational rigor
  • Define and implement a future‑state MDG operating model across Supply Chain and Commercial domains
  • Own SAP MDG implementation, adoption, and optimization, including standard workflows, automation, and embedded data quality controls
  • Serve as Global Process Owner for Product/Material Master Data, driving alignment across Finance, QA, Manufacturing, Planning, Distribution, Warehousing, and IT
  • Establish enterprise data governance frameworks, KPIs, and performance dashboards to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance, and scalability
  • Drive digital enablement through automation and AI‑enabled tools (e.g., classification, validation, enrichment, duplicate detection)
  • Ensure master data readiness for commercial launches, IBP, CRM, MES, and system integrations
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior business leaders and the voice of master data within global digital transformation initiatives
  • Provide expertise for major enterprise initiatives including new product launches, acquisitions/divestitures, planning transformations, and network changes
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and external compliance standards
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 10 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 6 Years of Demonstrated Leadership

  • Extensive experience leading Master Data Governance and global process ownership in complex, multinational environments
  • Deep functional expertise in SAP MDG and supply chain and commercial master data domains

  • Demonstrated experience building and leading high‑performing global teams
