Job description


Join a team at the center of financial data and analytics. You will play a key role in ensuring data is accurate, governed, and ready to support business decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work across teams, improve data quality, and contribute to critical finance processes.
As a Reference Data Product Senior Associate in the Planning and Analysis team, you support enterprise reference data used for forecasting, reporting, and analytics. You partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure data is accurate, governed, and fit for purpose. You help deliver and operate reference data across key domains while driving data quality, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for reference data enhancements and issue resolution
  • Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Lead and coordinate testing activities, including planning, execution, and defect management
  • Perform and oversee recurring operational processes such as data validation, exception review, and reporting
  • Monitor and improve data quality across domains, including completeness, accuracy, and consistency
  • Manage the lifecycle of data issues, including root-cause analysis and stakeholder communication
  • Maintain and enhance reference data documentation, including definitions, hierarchies, and mappings
  • Partner across finance, risk, operations, and technology teams to standardize data structures and usage
  • Support onboarding of new data consumers and updates to existing data structures
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance scalability, controls, and governance of data platforms

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or data operations
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
  • Experience supporting testing activities and managing defects in a structured delivery environment
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience with reference or master data concepts, including taxonomies and data governance
  • Familiarity with large-scale data platforms
  • Experience with data quality frameworks and performance monitoring
  • Experience working in agile environments using tools such as Jira or similar platforms
