Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a Data Quality Analyst (Datactics Specialist) for a critical 6-week assignment. This role is strictly focused on the rapid design, configuration, and implementation of a data quality rules engine utilizing the Datactics platform. Your primary objective is to establish robust, automated governance checks to monitor, measure, and
ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our foundational data. The rules and pipelines you build will feed directly into our Command Center BI dashboards, providing business leaders with real time, actionable visibility into enterprise data health.
Key Responsibilities:
* Datactics Rule Creation: Design, build, test, and deploy comprehensive data quality rules within theplatform, customized to our specific business glossary and governance policies
* Data Profiling & Discovery: Conduct rapid profiling of source datasets to identify anomalies, establish baseline quality metrics, and define thresholds for accuracy, completeness, and consistency checks
* Governance Alignment: Translate abstract business definitions and governance guidelines into technical data quality rules and executable workflows
* Dashboard Integration: Collaborate intimately with the Command Center BI team to ensure that Datactics outputs, scores, and exceptions seamlessly flow into downstream reporting dashboards
* Documentation & Handoff: Produce clear, concise documentation of the rules engine architecture, logic, and operational procedures to ensure a frictionless transition to the internal analytics team at the conclusion of the assignment
* Datactics Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience utilizing Datactics specifically for rules engine creation, data profiling, and the automation of quality checks
* Data Governance Knowledge: Deep conceptual and practical understanding of core data quality dimensions-specifically accuracy, completeness, and consistency-and how to systematically measure them
REQUIREMENTS:
* Datactics Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience utilizing Datactics specifically for rules engine
creation, data profiling, and the automation of quality checks
* Data Governance Knowledge: Deep conceptual and practical understanding of core data quality
dimensions
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
