Job description

Job Title: Student Worker - Data Processor

Job Classification: Business Operations, Student

Department: Undergraduate Admissions

Hiring Manager: Piper Green

Work Schedule: 10 hours/week minimum 7:30am-6:00pm (M-Th) 7:30-5:00 (F))

Desired Length of Employment: On-going

Pay Rate: $11.00

Job Description:

  • Data Processors will process domestic (US) high school transcripts, enter data from high school transcripts and verify information in our software to ensure all student profiles have accurate information.
  • Student workers are expected to work in office at the Clifton Robinson Tower, 4th floor a minimum of 10 hours/week.
  • Students are responsible for their own transportation to the Clifton Tower. Parking is available at the CRT or parking garage.
  • Students must work between the hours of 7:30am- 6:00pm (Mon-Thurs) and 7:30am-5:00pm (Fridays)
  • Student workers may have other duties as assigned by supervisors

Minimum Requirements:
Familiarity with domestic high school transcripts, terminology, and acronyms is required.
Ability to work 10 hours/week during the above times, in office

What we do:  

  • Enter information from incoming domestic high school transcripts for applicants. 
  • Enter information from info cards received from college fairs or high school visits. 
  • Audit documents to ensure they are on the correct student as well as indexed correctly. 
  • Complete all other assignments given by the student supervisors or coordinator. 

What will you learn?: Data entry skills, attention to detail, excelling in a team setting, leadership.   

During academic times, students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week with prior supervisor approval. During non-academic hours, students may work up to 40 hours per week with prior supervisor approval. All training will occur in person in the Clifton Robinson Tower, 4th Floor. Transportation is a student's responsibility.
