Join Our Team as a Privacy Attorney at AxiomLocation: Onsite - Dallas, Texas

We are seeking a Privacy Attorney to support our client, a large consumer services company. In this role, you will support key privacy initiatives, including negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), optimizing cookie and marketing technology configurations, assessing data processing activities, and strengthening privacy compliance across the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Review, negotiate, and redline Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) to ensure compliance with applicable global privacy regulations.
  • Assess and optimize website cookie and marketing technology configurations, collaborating with engineering teams to implement consent management best practices.
  • Prepare quarterly privacy program status reports for executive stakeholders, highlighting progress, key risks, and strategic next steps.
  • Partner with operations and business leaders to map data flows, assess processing activities, and strengthen privacy compliance.
Qualifications:
  • 3-7 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable global privacy regulations and privacy compliance practices.
  • Experience with website cookies, marketing technologies, and consent management practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills.
  • Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience supporting organizational privacy programs, including data-flow mapping and assessments of data processing activities.
Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.ย Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.ย  Employees may be eligible for additional benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities and tools.
