Job description

As a Product Director in Trust & Security, you will own the full product strategy and execution for Chase's Trust & Security data infrastructure. This includes both the current-state platforms serving our customers today and the next-generation modernized platform being built on AWS. You report directly to the Head of Consumer & Community Banking Data, Decisioning & AI Platforms.
 

The Consumer & Community Banking Trust & Security organization is responsible for the data infrastructure, AI/ML capabilities, and decisioning platforms that power fraud detection and risk decisions across every Chase channel, product, and customer interaction.
 

Job responsibilities
  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
  • Own and evolve the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the T&S Data Platform.

  • Act as the senior product voice on platform investments, translating architectural and regulatory needs into executive-ready business cases.
  • Be accountable for platform stability supporting fraud strategy, identity, and dispute teams across Chase, while meeting BAU SLAs for freshness, quality, and availability.
  • Lead delivery of the next-gen platform build, partnering with Engineering on milestones to replace siloed systems with a centralized, real-time, governed signal infrastructure.
  • Define and enforce shared data contracts across the Shared Signal Fabric (schema governance, freshness SLAs, and data quality standards).
  • Drive modernization and adoption, leading legacy-to-modern migration (parity, shadow-runs, decommission criteria) and partnering with Enablement & Migration to onboard consumers and retire legacy dependencies.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Proven ability to balance platform stability with greenfield modernization initiatives
  • Deep expertise in modern data architectures (real-time streaming, lakehouse, data mesh, feature stores) and AWS-based data ecosystems
  • Experience building low-latency, real-time data platforms for fraud detection or trust & safety in financial services / fintech
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, model risk management, and regulatory requirements (data quality, lineage, risk aggregation)
  • Track record of leading platform product models and optimizing cloud costs (FinOps, platform-as-a-product, team topology frameworks)
  • Executive-level stakeholder influence and leadership experience managing senior product managers and cross-functional teams
