Job description

We are seeking a Data & Optimization Analyst / Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will collect, organize, and analyze data to build dashboards and reports that give leadership the ability to make quick decisions on personnel, contract, cost, and risk impacts in a satellite operations environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Use a combination of technical, personnel, and financial data to understand and predict future operational needs
  • Analyze internal and external data through quantitative research. This will involve traveling to operations centers to ensure data collection is accurate and well understood
  • Communicate findings through reports, dashboards, and mission engineering threads
  • Promote best practices in data analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders to bridge gaps between technical, financial, and contractual teams

Qualifications:

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Previous experience in business intelligence / analysis, systems engineering, engineering cost estimating, mathematical modeling and optimization, statistical analysis, or other related field
