Job description

Turn complex delivery and portfolio data into clear insights that leaders can act on. In this role, you will shape a modern dashboard roadmap, elevate reporting standards, and help teams deliver better outcomes through data-driven decisions.

Job Summary
As a Data and Analytics Development Lead in our Card and Commerce Product Reporting team, you lead the strategy and day-to-day delivery of interactive dashboards and analytics that guide planning and execution. You build and maintain high-performing data sets, uncover patterns and opportunities through analysis, and translate results into clear recommendations. You partner closely with product, technology, design, and data teams to prioritize the reporting roadmap and improve how we measure and communicate progress. Your work helps us improve transparency, consistency, and the overall delivery experience.

Job responsibilities
  • Own and manage portfolio and delivery dashboards, ensuring they provide meaningful insights and support business objectives
  • Assemble, analyze, and perform statistical analysis on large, complex data sets to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Build and maintain a strategic backlog and roadmap for data visualization and reporting needs with cross-functional partners
  • Translate business questions into actionable analysis plans, data queries, and measurable insights
  • Partner with reporting standards and data teams to identify and onboard new data sources required for evolving needs
  • Design and optimize large, curated data sets to improve dashboard performance and usability
  • Interpret trends and results, and provide clear, actionable recommendations that drive outcomes
  • Connect information across multiple sources to identify patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Communicate insights, changes, and priorities effectively with peers, managers, and stakeholders
  • Create automation and self-serve reporting where possible to reduce manual effort and increase consistency
  • Serve as an internal consultant by building relationships, understanding stakeholder needs, and co-designing data-driven solutions
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 6+ years of experience in an enterprise product or technology environment
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building dashboards and analytics using Tableau and Alteryx
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, extract, and work within unfamiliar data environments
  • Experience working with large data sets and designing solutions that balance accuracy, speed, and usability
  • Proven ability to optimize dashboard and workbook performance for scale and repeatable useStrong analytical skills, including experience using statistics to identify trends and insights
  • Ability to translate data into clear, audience-appropriate narratives and recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder partnership skills across business and technology teams
  • Effective communication skills, including comfort presenting to senior leaders
  • Ability to facilitate discussions, navigate differing viewpoints, and drive alignment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks and portfolio reporting patterns
  • Experience working with work management and delivery tracking tools such as Jira
  • Knowledge of data definitions, reporting standards, and metric governance practices
  • Experience designing reusable data sets and templates that improve consistency across dashboards
  • Background in automating recurring reporting processes and improving operational efficiency
  • Experience mentoring or leading analysts and developers through complex deliverables
  • Comfort influencing outcomes without direct authority through partnership and data-driven storytelling
