Position overview

The Global People Operations Manager will play a critical role in building and scaling a best-in-class people infrastructure that supports RTV's growing global workforce. This role will partner closely with HR leadership, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to ensure operational excellence across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including global employment practices, compensation, and benefits administration, HR systems, workplace planning, and people analytics.

Key responsibilities

People Operations

  • Create scalable processes, leveraging data to drive decisions, and delivering an exceptional employee experience across multiple countries and regions.
  • Own and manage day-to-day global HR operations across people systems and the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, offboarding, documentation, and employee records management.
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve RTV governance, compliance, procedures, and workflows to support a growing global workforce.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant employee data management across all HR systems and platforms.
  • Partnering with our Chief People and Culture Officer and regional leaders to support international employment practices.

People Analytics & Workforce Insights

  • Own the organization's people analytics strategy, ensuring leaders have actionable workforce insights to support business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, HR metrics, and workforce reporting across key areas including headcount, turnover, engagement/retention, hiring, diversity, compensation, engagement, performance, and organizational health supporting the RTV People Team KPIs.
  • Analyze workforce trends and provide data-driven recommendations to HR leadership and executives on talent risks, opportunities, and workforce planning strategies.
  • Monitor People Team KPIs and service-level metrics, driving continuous improvement across people programs and operations.
  • Ensure data governance, reporting accuracy, and compliance with privacy regulations and data management standards globally.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Partner with people team leadership and Finance to administer and evolve global compensation programs, including salary structures, benchmarking, market analyses, and annual compensation review cycles.
  • Conduct compensation analyses and provide recommendations to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices across regions.
  • Support job architecture, leveling frameworks, and compensation philosophy implementation.
  • Manage global benefits programs and vendor relationships, ensuring employees have access to competitive and compliant benefit offerings.
  • Monitor compensation and benefits trends to inform strategic recommendations.

People Systems & Analytics

  • Serve as the primary administrator for RTV people systems including Human Resources Information and Applicant Tracking, ensuring data integrity, system optimization, and effective workflows.
  • Evaluate, implement, and improve HR technologies that support scale and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain people metrics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership within HRIS.
  • Analyze workforce data and trends to provide insights and recommendations that support business decisions.
  • Support annual workforce planning and organizational reporting processes.

Employee Experience & People Programs

  • Partner with people team leadership to implement and manage core people programs including performance management, engagement initiatives, reward and recognition, and talent reviews.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Develop scalable onboarding and offboarding programs that reflect company culture and values.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and company-wide people projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Eight plus years of progressive HR experience, including significant responsibility for HR operations, compensation, compliance, and HR systems.
  • Five plus years of progressive HR Operations experience supporting employees across the United States and Canada.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of North American employment laws and HR compliance requirements, including federal, state, provincial, and local regulations.
  • Experience managing HR programs, policies, and employee lifecycle processes in a multi-state and multi-province environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling people operations from the ground floor.
  • Experience supporting global HR Operations across multiple countries and regions.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing people analytics, workforce reporting, and executive dashboards.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with experience leveraging HR data to drive workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, retention strategies, and business decision-making.
  • Strong proficiency in HR reporting tools, data visualization platforms, and workforce analytics methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing compensation programs, salary benchmarking, and compensation review processes.
  • Experience building compensation frameworks, benchmarking, and job architecture models.
  • Hands-on experience administering HRIS and ATS platforms and optimizing HR technology ecosystems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, influence, and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
  • CPHR, CHRE or CHRL designation or equivalent HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, CIPD).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the technology sector or supporting technology-enabled organizations is a plus.
  • Experience in high-growth, early-stage and/or mission-driven organizations.
  • Experience working in emerging markets, including Sub-Saharan Africa, is a plus.
  • Background scaling organizations through periods of rapid growth and transformation.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing HRIS and ATS platforms such as HiBob, Greenhouse, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of global mobility, immigration, and international employment practices.
