Job Title: HR Operations Intern (Summer 2026)

Location: Elizabeth,NJ   Schedule: Part-time (2 days per week)     Compensation: Minimum Wage
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team for the summer. This role is designed for someone looking to transition from academic theory to professional practice. You will work directly with our HR lead to maintain the integrity of our personnel data, ensure compliance with business filings, and support the daily administrative operations of a growing small business.
Key Responsibilities:
  • HRIS Management: Help maintain our HR Information System by uploading documents, auditing employee profiles, and ensuring all digital records are up-to-date.
  • Document Compliance: Assist with the preparation and filing of small business documents and state/local regulatory requirements.
  • Records Maintenance: Organize and digitize physical and electronic files to ensure "audit-ready" record-keeping.
  • Onboarding Support: Help prepare digital onboarding packets for new hires and track the completion of required employment forms.
  • Special Projects: Assist with ad-hoc HR research or administrative tasks as needed to support business growth.
  • Company’s LinkedIn business page: Create, update, and publish HR-related initiatives and business events on the company’s LinkedIn business page.
