Director, Data Analysis
Director, Data Analysis positions offered by Capital One, National Association (McLean, Virginia).
  • Responsible for driving the data management agenda for Capital One's largest business division.
  • Develop and execute on data management strategy.
  • Define and monitor KRI's and escalate areas of non-compliance as appropriate.
  • Oversee the design and execution of data controls.
  • Oversee data quality monitoring and data issue management practices.
  • Monitor the health of data catalog metadata.
  • Manage team of high performing data professionals.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field and 8 years of experience in performing data analytics.
  • In lieu of a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 8 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 6 years of experience as stated.
  • Requires 6 years of experience leading and developing with open-source data technologies.
  • Also requires 4 years of experience managing people.
  • Position reports to McLean, VA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
  • Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
  • Eligible for employee referral program.
