Job description

We are looking for Network Analyst - Under general supervision, plan, manage and oversee operation of the data network, related equipment, and software. Supervise and/or perform the installation and maintenance of the network infrastructure along with all network products.


  • Manage the campus-wide wired network including the design, deployment, and maintenance
  • Manage the campus-wide wireless network including the design, deployment, maintenance, and coverage evaluation
  • Manage the campus network segmentation including the design, deployment, and maintenance in adherence with security recommendations and compliance obligations
  • Manage the campus Domain Name Service (DNS), Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP), and
  • Network Address Table (NAT) services.
  • Manage the campus cabling plant (fiber optic and category cabling) including the design, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Manage campus security appliances (firewalls and Virtual Private Network [VPN]) including the design, deployment, and maintenance in adherence with security recommendations and compliance obligations.
  • Assist with computer support responsibilities including covering the helpdesk, troubleshooting printer issues, investigating reports from Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms, and supporting various computer operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Macintosh.
  • Assist with classroom audio/visual (AV) technology setup and support
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned


Requirements:


  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • A minimum of two years information technology work experience
  • At least one certification โ€“ CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCST, or similar vendor credentials
  • Proficiency in layer 2 or layer 3 switching, routing protocols (TCP/IP), WANโ€™s, and wireless.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki network equipment
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
