Job description

The Senior Network Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, stability, security, and continuous improvement of Bob's enterprise voice and data networking environments across corporate, retail, and distribution operations. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership to ensure reliable network performance, successful project execution, and exceptional service delivery.

This leader will oversee network engineering operations, manage internal and offshore resources, support escalated technical issues, and partner cross-functionally to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure solutions that support business growth.

Work environment may include a combination of in-office and remote work based on business needs. This role participates in on-call escalation support and may require occasional off-hours work and travel for deployments, cutovers, or operational support.

  • Enterprise networking expertise including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security
  • Strong troubleshooting and escalation management skills within complex enterprise environments
  • Experience supporting Cisco-based infrastructure including routing, switching, firewalls, voice, and collaboration technologies
  • Ability to lead network operations while balancing project delivery, operational priorities, and service levels
  • Leadership experience managing technical teams including hiring, coaching, mentoring, workload planning, and performance management
  • Knowledge of Layer 3 networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of enterprise networking experience supporting complex environments
  • 3+ years of hands-on network engineering experience including routing, switching, wireless, and security
  • 2+ years of voice or collaboration technology experience
  • 2+ years of direct people leadership or formal supervisory experience
  • Experience leading technical projects and coordinating cross-functional initiatives
  • CCNA Enterprise certification required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, related field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Master's degree preferred
