Position Summary

Credit One Bank is seeking a Risk Analyst I to join the Risk Technology Modernization team. This position is responsible for designing and delivering campaign management solutions, producing campaign execution files, and ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and quality of campaign data. The role will play a key part in modernizing campaign processes through automation, data engineering, and optimization initiatives utilizing Python, Snowflake, SQL, and related technologies.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with a continuous improvement mindset, leveraging automation and scalable data solutions to increase operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve campaign execution quality. The individual in this role must possess business knowledge and technical expertise related to their areas of responsibility and demonstrate strong capabilities in systems functionality, process optimization, time management, and change management.

 
Summary of Essential Job Functions
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality campaign management solutions and data pipelines supporting marketing and risk campaign execution.
  • Develop and optimize Python-based processes, scripts, and automation tools to improve efficiency, reduce operational risk, and eliminate manual processes.
  • Leverage Snowflake and SQL to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions for campaign targeting, audience selection, and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline existing workflows and implement process improvements that enhance reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain automated validation and monitoring processes to ensure campaign data accuracy and integrity.
  • Identify root causes of data quality and process issues and implement sustainable solutions and preventative controls.
  • Optimize campaign execution processes through data engineering best practices, performance tuning, and workflow automation.
  • Ensure all code, data models, processes, and business logic are thoroughly documented and aligned with governance standards.
  • Anticipate operational and technical issues based on knowledge of business trends, campaign performance, and evolving data needs, and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Support modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy processes to cloud-based platforms and automated frameworks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Position RequirementsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative, technical, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in analytics, data engineering, campaign management, risk analytics, or related fields (financial services experience preferred).
  • Experience working with large-scale data environments and cloud-based data platforms, preferably Snowflake.
Technical Skills
  • Strong SQL skills with demonstrated experience querying, transforming, and optimizing large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, process optimization, and workflow development.
  • Experience with Snowflake for data warehousing, data transformation, and performance optimization.
  • Experience building automated data quality controls, monitoring processes, and validation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts, data pipeline development, and data integration best practices.
  • Experience with version control, code documentation, and software development best practices are preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
