Description:
This role is responsible for predicting and extracting meaningful insights, trends, patterns, and recommendations from complex datasets by leveraging data science methodologies, including machine learning, predictive modeling, advanced analytics, statistics, and data mining. The ideal candidate will partner with business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand business requirements and analyze datasets to identify optimal analytical approaches that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Design, develop, and implement data analysis frameworks, machine learning models, algorithms, hypotheses, and experiments.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques, including:
    • Data mining
    • Predictive and prescriptive modeling
    • Statistical analysis
    • Machine learning algorithms
    • Mathematical modeling
  • Identify and uncover meaningful patterns, relationships, and trends within structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Develop efficient data loading, preparation, augmentation, and analysis methodologies to improve model accuracy, scalability, and robustness.
  • Design scalable data science solutions that support automation and operationalization.
  • Continuously research emerging data science, machine learning, and analytics technologies to enhance analytical capabilities and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and deploy analytics solutions into production environments.

Analytics Responsibilities
  • Perform statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and insight generation for our platform.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses of data to identify early indicators and recommend actions to prevent or mitigate events.
  • Execute rapid-turnaround studies to address urgent business questions by mining, managing, and analyzing large, high-dimensional datasets.
  • Analyze data from sources including:
    • RAV data
    • Vehicle quality data
    • Repair orders
    • Repeat service visits
    • Parts orders and supply data
    • Service records
    • Warranty claims
    • Recalls
  • Develop and maintain Power BI visualizations to communicate analytical findings, model validation results, and predictive insights.
  • Partner with architects, project managers, data engineers, software engineers, and fellow data scientists to test data pipelines, validate outputs, and deploy new platform capabilities.
  • Present complex analytical findings and recommendations to leadership, business stakeholders, and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
