Position Overview

The State of Texas is seeking a highly experienced Senior EHR QA Test Lead to lead quality assurance efforts for enterprise healthcare applications. This role requires extensive experience in EHR Functional Testing, Healthcare Data Migration, ETL Testing, QA Leadership, and Healthcare Compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record leading large-scale healthcare implementation and data conversion projects within complex enterprise environments.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum 15+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 11+ years of experience as a QA/Test Lead or QA/Test Manager.
  • Strong experience supporting Healthcare/EHR implementations.
  • Experience with State or Public Sector Healthcare Systems is highly preferred.
  • Must be available to work 100% onsite in Austin, TX.
  • Face-to-Face Interview is Mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with vendors, business users, developers, analysts, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, HIPAA regulations, and government requirements.
  • Support Agile delivery teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting State Government or Public Sector Healthcare projects.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability and data exchange standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
