Here is our client looking for a Big Data Architect in Des Moines, IA for 3+ months contract. Someone with good Azure HD Insights experience or Hortonworks on Azure experience. We don't have complete job description for your review. But would like to know your interest. Thank you

Title: Big Data Architect

Location: Des Moines, IA

Duration: 10-12 Weeks

Description: Looking for a Big Data Architect, Someone with good Azure HD Insights experience or Hortonworks on Azure experience. Hortonworks stack. The stack will be stood up on Azure. We are ingesting and processing XML like proprietary data that is generated on premise as a the source. Source files are exposed via a file share location and a Hadoop listener will watch that location once detected will push them into HDFS and then perform data processing in Spark or Map reduce into Hive/ H-Base. Then we will have Informatica connect to these structure to perform ETL into an on premise Data warehouse. Since Informatica part will be developed by the Client team, it is an optional skill. But we will be exposing the data from Hortonworks Data Platform for Informatica to read and extract the data for it process.
