Job Title: Teamcenter Data Migration Senior Developer
Job Location: Detroit, MI and Chicago, IL
Job Duration: 3 Months, Contract to Hire
 
Job Description:
  • Teamcenter Senior Developer with hands on experience in extracting data from Legacy systems and transform/loading them into Teamcenter using ETL skills
  • Design and develop robust ETL processes for migrating data to Teamcenter PLM systems
  • Create data mapping specifications between legacy systems and Teamcenter
  • Develop custom migration tools and scripts using appropriate technologies
  • Perform data quality analysis and implement data cleansing procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
  • Document migration strategies, processes, and technical specifications
  • Mentor junior developers on ETL best practices and Teamcenter data models
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data migration issues
Qualifications: 
  • Advanced knowledge of Teamcenter data architecture and object models 
  • Extensive experience with ETL tools and methodologies for PLM data migration
  • Strong programming skills in relevant languages (Java, Python, SQL)
  • Experience with Teamcenter APIs and integration mechanisms
  • Proficiency in data mapping and transformation techniques
  • Prepare Extract logic using SQL scripts or Source Tool SDK in CSV format
  • Convert CSV format to TcXML format to prepare for loading into Teamcenter, using converted TcXML files
  • Develop scripts to load data into middleware tables and leverage them to load source data to execute data quality validation tools
  • Knowledge of PLM data quality assessment and cleansing methods
  • Experience with large-scale data migration projects
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Teamcenter implementation or migration projects
  • Certification in Teamcenter administration or development
